Charging Program Agreement

This Charging Program Agreement ("Agreement") governs your participation in the BlitzVolt Charging Rewards Program ("Program") operated by Blitz T Club ("Organization", "we", "us", "our"). By enrolling in or using the Program, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Program Overview

The BlitzVolt Charging Rewards Program rewards eligible Tesla owners for verified home charging sessions. The Program tracks energy delivered to your vehicle during home charging via the Tesla Fleet API, verifies the charging location using geofence technology, and provides monetary rewards based on the energy consumed.

Rewards are funded through the aggregation and monetization of carbon credit data generated by your home charging activity, as permitted under Canada's Clean Fuel Regulations (CFR).

2. Eligibility

To participate in the Program, you must meet all of the following criteria:

• Own or lease a Tesla vehicle with active Fleet API connectivity
• Have a home charging setup using a Tesla Wall Connector (Gen 3 or Universal) or Tesla Mobile Connector. Wall Connector users are automatically eligible. Mobile Connector users must pair Fleet Telemetry (virtual key) and set their home location in Settings > Home Location to earn rewards.
• Be a resident of Canada
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Maintain an active Blitz T Club membership in good standing
• Have a valid Canadian bank account for Interac e-Transfer payouts

3. Enrollment

To enroll in the Program, you must complete the following steps:

• Connect your Tesla account — Authorize BlitzVolt to access your vehicle's charging data via the Tesla Fleet API using OAuth 2.0 PKCE authentication
• Set your home geofence — Define your home charging location in Settings > Home Location so that BlitzVolt can verify home charging sessions
• Agree to this Agreement — Accept the terms and conditions outlined herein

Enrollment is automatic upon successful completion of these steps. You may be asked to re-authorize your Tesla connection periodically to maintain access.

4. Qualifying Charging Sessions

Only qualifying charging sessions are eligible for rewards. A session qualifies when:

• Home location verified — The charging session occurs within the geofence radius (500m) of your registered home address, as determined by Haversine distance calculation
• Minimum energy threshold — The session delivers at least 0.1 kWh of energy
• Data validated — Session data is successfully retrieved from the Tesla Fleet API and passes our validation checks
• Not flagged — The session has not been flagged for manual review due to anomaly detection

5. Reward Rate

The current reward rate is:

The reward rate is subject to change with thirty (30) days' advance written notice. We will notify you via email and/or in-app notification of any changes to the reward rate.

6. Reward Calculation

Rewards are calculated using an integer points system to ensure maximum precision:

• Point unit: 100 points = C$1.00 CAD
• Per kWh reward: 4 pts (C$0.04)
• Integer arithmetic: All calculations are performed using integer math to prevent floating-point rounding errors
• Precision guarantee: Every watt-hour is accounted for with exact precision

Your accumulated reward balance is displayed in your BlitzVolt dashboard in Canadian dollars and is updated after each qualifying charging session.

7. Session Verification

All charging sessions are subject to verification to maintain Program integrity:

• Geofence check: Each session is verified against your registered home location using the Haversine formula with a 500m radius tolerance
• GPS privacy — charging-only retention: Vehicle GPS coordinates are collected at a maximum of every 15 minutes, only while the vehicle is awake and actively charging. When GPS data is received and the vehicle is not charging, the location data is immediately and permanently destroyed — it is never written to the database, stored in server memory, or logged. BlitzVolt does not track driving routes, daily travel patterns, or vehicle locations outside of active charging sessions. The only GPS data retained is the coordinate recorded during your charging session, used as audit proof for CFR carbon credit verification. See Privacy Policy Section 2.8 for full technical details.
• Anomaly detection: Sessions exceeding 100 kWh are automatically flagged for manual review to prevent fraud or data errors
• Audit rights: Blitz T Club reserves the right to audit any session or account to verify compliance with this Agreement
• Adjustments: We may adjust or reverse rewards for sessions that fail verification, with written notice

8. Payout

Rewards are paid out via Interac e-Transfer to your registered Canadian bank account after the associated carbon credits have been verified and approved by the applicable regulatory authority during Q1 of the following year:

• Minimum payout: $100.00 CAD
• Processing time: 5–10 business days from the date of your payout request
• Currency: All payouts are in Canadian Dollars (CAD)
• Auto-deposit: We recommend enabling Interac e-Transfer auto-deposit for fastest processing

You may request a payout at any time once your balance meets or exceeds the minimum threshold. There is no maximum payout amount.

9. Tax Implications

• Rewards earned through the Program may constitute taxable income under Canadian tax law
• You are solely responsible for reporting rewards as income on your tax returns, if applicable
• Blitz T Club may issue a T4A slip for cumulative rewards exceeding $500.00 CAD in a calendar year
• Referral bonuses are also subject to the same tax reporting requirements

10. Carbon Credits

By participating in the Program, you acknowledge and agree to the following regarding carbon credits:

• Data rights assignment: You grant Blitz T Club the right to use your verified home charging data — including GPS coordinates, energy delivered, and timestamps — for the purpose of generating, aggregating, and monetizing carbon credits under Canada's Clean Fuel Regulations (CFR). This data is used for Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) to generate credible carbon credits representing real-world greenhouse gas emission reductions from charging your vehicle with electricity instead of gasoline or diesel.
• Carbon offset calculation: Each kWh of verified home charging is calculated at approximately 0.404 kg CO₂ offset (displacement methodology accounting for the well-to-wheels CO₂ reduction from replacing gasoline with electricity in an EV)
• Funding mechanism: The rewards paid to you under this Program are funded in part through the monetization of these carbon credits in the CFR compliance market
• Exclusivity: You agree not to independently register, sell, or otherwise monetize the carbon credits associated with charging sessions tracked through BlitzVolt during your participation in the Program
• No double-claiming — third-party chargers: If you use a third-party home charging station (e.g., ChargePoint, FLO, Grizzl-E, or any other non-Tesla brand) that independently offers carbon credit or clean energy rebate programs, you must confirm that your charging provider does not already claim carbon credits for your sessions. The same charging data cannot be used to generate carbon credits by multiple parties. Participating in competing programs while enrolled in BlitzVolt is a violation of this Agreement and may result in immediate termination and forfeiture of rewards.
• Mobile Connector & third-party charger users: Since your charging is verified through Tesla vehicle telemetry rather than a direct Wall Connector connection, you expressly acknowledge that BlitzVolt relies on your Tesla's Battery Management System as the accredited sub-meter for CFR compliance. You must not enroll the same vehicle or charging session in any other carbon credit aggregation program.
• Reward eligibility contingent on data access: Earning rewards requires the collection of verifiable charging data including GPS location. If you revoke GPS/location access, disable telemetry, remove the virtual key, or otherwise prevent BlitzVolt from accessing the data necessary for CFR compliance verification, no rewards will be credited until access is restored. Carbon credits cannot be issued without verifiable location data proving that charging occurred at the participant's registered home address.

11. Data Collection

We collect and process the following data in connection with the Program:

• Charging session data: Energy delivered (kWh), timestamps, duration, and charging location coordinates
• Vehicle GPS location: Recorded at a maximum of every 15 minutes, only while the vehicle is awake and actively charging, for geofence verification and CFR compliance. Non-charging GPS data is immediately destroyed on receipt — never stored, never logged. We do not collect driving routes, speeds, travel patterns, or any location data outside of active charging sessions. GPS coordinates retained during charging are stored for 7 years as part of the CFR audit trail.
• Vehicle data: Vehicle identification, battery level before and after charging
• Tesla API tokens: Encrypted using AES-256-GCM; stored securely and never shared with third parties
• Payout information: Interac e-Transfer email and transaction records

All data collection and processing is conducted in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

12. Termination

• By you: You may terminate your participation in the Program at any time by disconnecting your Tesla account from BlitzVolt and contacting us at info@blitztclub.com
• By us: We may terminate or suspend your participation for violation of this Agreement, fraud, or misuse of the Program, with written notice
• Outstanding rewards: Upon termination, any accrued rewards exceeding $100.00 CAD will be paid out within thirty (30) days. Rewards below the minimum threshold will be forfeited
• Data retention: Charging data used for CFR credit reporting may be retained as required by applicable regulations

13. Modifications

Blitz T Club reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Material changes will be communicated with at least thirty (30) days' advance notice via:

• Email notification to your registered email address
• In-app notification within the BlitzVolt dashboard
• Updated "Last Updated" date on this page

Continued participation in the Program after the effective date of any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Blitz T Club shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your participation in the Program
• Our total liability for any claim arising under this Agreement shall not exceed the total rewards paid to you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Tesla Fleet API, geofence verification, or any other technical component of the Program
• We are not responsible for any loss of rewards due to Tesla API outages, connectivity issues, or changes to Tesla's API terms of service

15. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario.
