Connect your Tesla account, set your home location, and charge at home as you normally would. BlitzVolt automatically detects your charging sessions, verifies they happen at your registered home address using GPS geofencing, and credits your points. After the annual carbon credit audit completes in Q1 of the following year, your verified points become redeemable for cash via Interac e-Transfer.

Any Canadian resident who is 18 or older and owns or leases a Tesla vehicle. You'll need an active Tesla account and a Canadian bank account that accepts Interac e-Transfers.

Yes, BlitzVolt is completely free to join and use. There are no subscription fees, no hidden charges, and no costs to withdraw your earnings. We earn revenue through carbon credit aggregation under Canada's Clean Fuel Regulations, which funds your rewards.

Is it available outside Canada?

Currently, BlitzVolt is only available to Canadian residents. Our carbon credit aggregation operates under Canada's Clean Fuel Regulations, and our payment system uses Interac e-Transfer, which is a Canadian banking service.

You earn up to 5 points for every verified kilowatt-hour (kWh) of home charging (5 pts/kWh in Telemetry Mode, 4 pts/kWh in Standard Mode). Every 100 points is worth C$1.00. For example, if you charge 40 kWh in a week, you'd earn 160 points (C$1.60) in Standard Mode. The average Tesla owner charging at home can expect to earn approximately 600–1,200 points per month.

When do rewards appear in my account?

Rewards are typically credited within 24–48 hours after a charging session completes and passes verification. Points will appear in your balance as 'pending verification' until the annual Q1 carbon credit audit is completed (January–March of the following year).

What qualifies as home charging?

Home charging means charging your Tesla at your registered home address. The session must occur within the geofence boundary and be recorded through your connected Tesla via Fleet Telemetry. Both Tesla Wall Connector and Mobile Connector sessions earn up to 5 pts/kWh (Telemetry Mode) or 4 pts/kWh (Standard Mode) when verified. BlitzVolt is the only EV charging rewards platform that supports both Wall Connector and Mobile Connector users. Public Supercharger and destination charging sessions do not qualify.

Is there a maximum amount I can earn?

There is no upper limit on how much you can earn. Your rewards are directly proportional to how much you charge at home. The more you charge at home, the more points you earn.

Is my Tesla data safe?

Absolutely. Your Tesla credentials are never shared with us. We use OAuth 2.0 PKCE, which means you authenticate directly with Tesla and we receive only a limited-access token. All tokens are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before storage, and our database is protected by Row Level Security (RLS) policies.

Can I disconnect my Tesla anytime?

Yes, you can disconnect your Tesla at any time from within the BlitzVolt app or through your Tesla account settings. When you disconnect, we permanently delete all stored OAuth tokens immediately. You can reconnect later if you choose to resume using the service.

What is geofence verification?

Geofence verification is how we confirm that your charging sessions happen at your registered home address. When you charge, we compare the GPS coordinates from your Tesla with your home location using the Haversine formula. Sessions that fall within the geofence radius qualify for rewards.

How do I set my home location?

During setup, you'll be prompted to set your home location by entering your address or dropping a pin on a map. This becomes your geofence center point. You can update your home location at any time through the app settings if you move or need to adjust it.

You can redeem your charging points once the associated carbon credits have been successfully verified and approved by the applicable regulatory authority, which occurs in Q1 of the following year. Navigate to the Wallet section and tap 'Redeem' to request your Interac e-Transfer.

What's the minimum withdrawal amount?

The minimum redemption is 10,000 points from home charging (C$100.00). Only points earned from actual charging sessions count toward this threshold — referral bonuses and promotional credits are locked until you reach 10,000 charging points. Once the threshold is met, all your points can be redeemed together via Interac e-Transfer after the annual Q1 carbon credit audit.

Why can't I redeem my points immediately?

Points are tied to carbon credits under Canada's Clean Fuel Regulations. The regulatory authority verifies and approves these credits during Q1 of the following year. Once verified, your points become available for redemption. This annual cycle ensures compliance with federal carbon credit aggregation rules.

How does the referral program work?

Share your unique referral code with friends. When they sign up and enter your referral code within 5 business days, the referral link is established. Once they accumulate 2,500 kWh of verified home charging (10,000 points / C$100.00), you both receive a $5.00 CAD bonus. There's no limit to how many people you can refer.

Rewards earned through BlitzVolt may be considered taxable income under Canadian tax law. What are carbon credits?

Carbon credits are tradeable certificates that represent a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. Under Canada's Clean Fuel Regulations, electricity used to charge electric vehicles generates credits because it displaces fossil fuel consumption. These credits can be sold to companies that need to meet regulatory compliance targets.

How are my rewards funded from carbon credit sales?

Your rewards are funded in part by the sale of carbon credits generated from your verified home charging data. Under Canada's Clean Fuel Regulations, the trading price of carbon credits fluctuates based on market supply and demand. Your rewards rate is fixed at up to 5 pts/kWh (Telemetry Mode) or 4 pts/kWh (Standard Mode) regardless of carbon credit market prices — you're never exposed to market fluctuations.

What chargers work with BlitzVolt?

BlitzVolt supports all Tesla AC charging equipment: the Gen 3 Wall Connector, Universal Wall Connector, and Mobile Connector. Through Fleet Telemetry, your Tesla's Battery Management System serves as the accredited sub-meter — so even the Mobile Connector produces verifiable, audit-ready data. ⚠️ Important: If you use a non-Tesla charging station (ChargePoint, FLO, Grizzl-E, etc.) that offers its own carbon credit or clean energy rebate program, your charger provider may already be claiming carbon credits for your sessions. The same charging data cannot be claimed by two programs.

How do I delete my account?

You can request account deletion through the app settings or by emailing us at info@blitztclub.com. Upon deletion, we will permanently erase your Tesla OAuth tokens, disconnect your vehicle, and remove your personal data in accordance with our data retention schedule.

How do I connect my charger to BlitzVolt?

Tap 'Connect with Tesla' on the Connect page. You will be redirected to Tesla's official login portal (auth.tesla.com) where you authenticate directly with Tesla. After granting permission, your wall connectors and vehicles are automatically detected. The entire process takes less than a minute if your charger is already linked to your Tesla account.

1. About Blitz T Club

Blitz T Club Corporation ("Blitz T Club", "we", "us", or "our") is a Canadian not-for-profit organization based in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario. We operate a community for Tesla owners and EV enthusiasts, including the BlitzVolt charging rewards platform that rewards members for verified home EV charging.

These Terms govern your use of our website at blitztclub.com, the BlitzVolt platform, and all associated services (collectively, the "Services").

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services. Certain features, such as the BlitzVolt charging rewards program, may be subject to additional terms including the Charging Program Agreement and the BlitzVolt Program Terms.

3. Membership Eligibility

Membership in Blitz T Club is open to Canadian residents who:

Are at least 18 years of age
Provide accurate and complete registration information
Own or lease a Tesla vehicle (for BlitzVolt participation)
Maintain a valid Canadian bank account for reward redemptions
Comply with all club rules, guidelines, and applicable laws

Membership is free. We do not charge subscription fees. BlitzVolt rewards are funded through carbon credit aggregation under Canada's Clean Fuel Regulations.

4. BlitzVolt Charging Rewards Program

BlitzVolt rewards members for verified home EV charging at up to 5 points per kilowatt-hour (kWh) in Telemetry Mode (4 points/kWh in Standard Mode). Every 100 points equals C$1.00. Full terms governing the charging program — including reward eligibility, geofence verification, GPS privacy, carbon credit data rights, and redemption rules — are set out in the Charging Program Agreement, which is incorporated herein by reference.

6. Code of Conduct

Members are expected to:

Treat all members, sponsors, and partners with respect and courtesy
Follow all applicable laws, including traffic and highway laws
Not misrepresent the club or claim to speak on its behalf without authorization
Not abuse, exploit, or attempt to defraud the BlitzVolt rewards system
Not share or transfer their account, QR code, or charging rewards to others

Violations may result in suspension or termination of membership and forfeiture of unredeemed points, at our sole discretion.

Members receive exclusive discounts and benefits from our partner businesses. Benefits are subject to change without notice. 8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including the Blitz T Club name, logo, BlitzVolt branding, text, graphics, and software — is owned by Blitz T Club Corporation or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written consent.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our data practices are described in detail in our Privacy Policy. Key highlights:

10. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total rewards you have earned through the platform in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Services. The Tesla Fleet API, telemetry infrastructure, and carbon credit markets are third-party systems outside our control.

11. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

Violate these Terms or the Charging Program Agreement
Attempt to manipulate, hack, or defraud the rewards system
Provide false or misleading vehicle or charging data
Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity

Upon termination for cause, unredeemed points may be forfeited. Upon voluntary account deletion, unredeemed points are forfeited as they represent pending carbon credit obligations.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or website announcement at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
